Well firstly a Happy Christmas and a Good New Year to you all. We are currently building this site to help increase awareness of the  plight of the Snow Bear.

The Year has gone as quickly as ever, hard to believe it is already the new year 22nd of
December the days start to get long, honest, does not seem like it though. It's been good to catch up with every ones news. You can always send email and or pictures using this link

I am pleased to hear all in Norway has settled, sounds like quite year. Good news as the family gets more new members, with Katie in London having a baby ,as did Katie in Norway.
I know Mellie has had her ups and downs and hope keeping well as are all at Yetson. Not sure what's happening at the Evans household ? I have to catch up with Peter ……………………..

The weather has been a big factor this year in the south east, what with water shortages and this years early snow before christmas. The harbour has seen more calm water than I have or Anita has ever seen, the environment has changed here. The trees still have leaves on and we had roses in the garden trying to flower ? Of course this has affected work at the campsite, we concentrated on the campsite after the locally very wet weather last year.

As always we had the to boys to worry about. The girls always seem to manage life's ups and down so much better.

Phil has been for more tests to keep an eye on his kidney function, the inherited disorder means he does not deal with proteins properly and kidneys do not function properly.  He has however kept working hard as a steward on P&O ferries, and is now learning  to drive. Phil has passed his theory test and brought an old Rover 216 to learn to drive on the road properly.

Colin has had a bit of mixed year, he relationship with Lauralie broke down further, however he still sees his son Alex at least twice a week. He has not returned to work, which has been good in way but bad in another. While taking some of the pressure of him due to his illness, it has meant we have had to support him quite a lot.  We are hoping 2006 brings him more peace of mind and a more certain future.

Dawn and Grant having returned from their world tour last year have got on with life together, they have been living with us till now. They will be moving out shortly to a house they have bought in Ashford. Grant is still working as a history teacher, though Dawn is hoping to move on from her job at Ashford International ( European Rail ) to being in the local constabulary ! They went to Egypt earlier this year for a short holiday and got engaged. They have decided to move first and then get married later.

Tracey and Ged have been busy with there girls. Lucy is doing well at school and taking an interest in gymnastics, which is doing her good.  Emily too is doing well, though quite different from her older sister, she is quite mischievous. Tracey is doing her accountancy exams this last year and they continue this year, she also works with the railways, again at Ashford. Ged work for the railways also, at Dover. They have put a lot of work in to the camp site.  I helped fitting a roof to their garage for them as they had needed to sort that out for a year or two.

That's it for now, it's been a bit hectic this week so I have not had as much time as I would like to write, I have put some pictures on another page. Click the "Bookend" picture below.
Well I hope you all have a good new year and keep warm and well.
Walk well always.
